@kristincarbeaux: Replying to @life.with.chrissie No BRCA mutation. Still high risk. A negative BRCA1 or BRCA2 result doesn’t necessarily mean you have no increased breast cancer risk. For me, my doctors looked at the whole picture—my family history and my own breast history—when we discussed a preventative double mastectomy. This was my experience about 7 years ago, and genetic testing has evolved since then.
