Yesterday, the prosecution witness said, "Lindsay woke up in hospital and couldn't remember what had happened, so had to be told!" This is what we've been saying, and why she got some of the details wrong. Drugged, delirious, hallucinating, paralysed, told a narrative before her memory returned, of course her brain replayed it like a dream. "Hazy/ foggy memories, like I'm watching myself do it" is dissociation.
The cops planted those memories but forgot the smaller detail. This is why she was adamant about not locking the bedroom door and the window screen. If the people telling Lindsay the story themselves forget to include the smaller details, Lindsay's "memory" would reflect those errors, because her memory is built from their words, not the event. Her brain filled in blanks because she was innocent. Redd has to drop this in the cross-exam.
