I absolutely agree with you. My father-in-law told me when he was in the army they received care packages from Salvation Army. Sally Ann supports Canadians, so I support them. I no longer shop at value Village for a number of years now because the prices are escalating to where they are charging more and more for donated used items that in many cases you could buy for the same price or less in the brand store. Why are we supporting American businesses when they don’t support ours.

I absolutely refuse to ‘donate’ anything to value village. Their prices are ridiculous and I’d rather donate to a local shelter than to a corporation that just uses other people’s generosity to make money!
