Let’s be real. We are failing this generation. A lot of us parents are too focused on making our children happy that we bypass teaching them the fundamentals skills necessary survive in life. By giving them the life we didn’t have is an inadvertent set up for failure. Giving them a cell phone and iPad in elementary school, buying them a nice car in high school instead of showing them how to use public trans or school bus, pay for their college tuition instead of teaching them how to earn scholarships and grants. In return all they do is complain when they don’t get their way. That’s because we paved that way for them.
