What should we prioritize? What are we saying no to? 3. Learn to manage senior stakeholders. At this level, influence matters as much as expertise. Know what each stakeholder needs, where they have influence, and how to bring them along. 4. Get comfortable with ambiguity. Senior leaders rarely get perfect information. You need to make good decisions with incomplete data — and have the confidence to stand behind them. 5. Stop measuring your value by how busy you are. Your impact is no longer about how much you personally accomplish. It’s about the clarity, direction, capability and results you create through others.
