I got versed before walking into the OR. The last thing I remember was standing up to walk into the OR (I know I had two people to help me walk in there) but I remember nothing!

This is witchcraft. One minute I was joking with my doctor and the next thing I know I’m sitting in the recovery area😩😩😩. I think about it a lot cause if I died, that will be it??? Like that’s it???😩😩😩😩😩😩

Please can you talk about emergence delirium (particularly in paediatrics). My six year old son has just finished his treatment for cancer but requires three monthly scanning. When he has propofol TIVA and is left to recover naturally, he's ok. If not, he has HORRIFIC emergence delirium where he tries to harm himself for about an hour. How can I help him?

What I find disturbing is that they give you something for you not to remember. Which implies that on some level you are conscious of what's going on.

I woke up during wisdom teeth extraction. The dentist was yanking tf outta my tooth I could hear him swearing 🤬 and getting pissy with his team. I lifted my hand to be like hey stop but the dentist was like we're almost done and carried on drilling and tugging so I yelled and grabbed his wrist only then did he let the anaesthetist knock me back out 😒. He had the nerve to have an attitude with me when I was being walked out into recovery. Shout outs to anaesthetists that gaf about their patients.

I had a great anesthesiologist in my last surgery. I told him I always wake up in a panic when I wake up and he said I will adjust it so you dont wake up like that. It was the first time I woke up in peace 😭 I was so grateful

i have no idea what they injected me with when I was but they told me to count to 10 and told my mom ppl don't get past number 5 😂😂 I was saying 9 as I finally went to sleep lol
