My husband died on Thanksgiving last year. He was 30 and it was sudden. Sometime in February I had this very vivid dream about him - he was in a river splashing around and trying to run away from me. I was getting annoyed with him trying to catch up with him but he just kept swimming down the river. A friend appeared and told me “he’s just having fun, let him go”… so I let him swim down the river until he was out of my sight. The next morning I woke up and had a DM from a girl I had not spoken to in years. She said she was up breastfeeding her baby at 3 AM (right around the time of my dream) and heard a song and felt a super strong urge to send it to me. The song is “Meet You By The River” and it’s about your loved one waiting for you by the river & they won’t cross over until you meet them so they can cross hand in hand with you. Made me fcking sob. I know my Danny is waiting for me. I miss him so much.

Me and a friend were visiting the grave of our best friend who had passed away. It was around Halloween, and her family put out a little skeleton that would laugh when it sensed motion. We were behind her headstone so out of sight of the skeleton. I said “I can’t believe she left us. When I die I’m finding her and fighting her” and the skeleton started laughing. Me and my friend just stood there with chills…we said it was a coincidence. So we sat quietly, then I said “Taylor, if that was you, make it laugh again” and it laughed again. We both started crying. I knew in that moment she was with us.

I have some distinctive symbols as designated signs from my mom. I live on a river and was driving our boat down it, saw that a neighbor had put out a hot air balloon light right on the water. Hot air balloons are a sign for me, but I’m a skeptic so I brushed it off as coincidence. The next time I took the boat out, there was a heron statue next to it (another symbol). It felt like her way of confirming that the hot air balloon was in fact her. Also we buried my dog in the backyard, and he had long red fluffy hair. A few days after we buried him, a red fluffy flower grew right from the spot we buried him, looked identical to his fur. It was truly so strange. It lasted a few days and then died off. I’ve never seen anything like that grow around me ever again

I’ve had several, but one of the craziest was when I was in the middle of emailing an audio artist to ask if he could incorporate a voicemail of my dad saying, “Have a good day,” into the song I was walking down the aisle to on my wedding day. While I was literally in the middle of writing the email, I got a text from my friend. I opened it, and it was a picture of a license plate that said “GOODAY.” She had absolutely no idea about the voicemail or what I was doing at that exact moment.

I have seen so much from the other side, and experienced so deeply that this reality is not as real as we think it is, that I no longer have any doubt whatsoever. We are not separate in the way we believe we are. I think this place is the way it is—that we forget—so that we can grow. But if you think back to when you were a child, looking at the moon, you could see how magical reality was before it had a name. Everything here is a miracle. We are simply so identified with what we have learned that we believe our thoughts without even investigating what a thought actually is, or where it comes from. Everything is phenomenon. ❤️you are definitely going to see him again. And he is with you. And also inside you.

One night in the first few months after he died I was deep in grief, laying on our bedroom floor sobbing, begging to die. Telling him that if he expected me to stay here & do this life without him then I needed him to give me something in that moment. Our tv was on, but just on the Home Screen. I hear Netflix come on. Then the words “surving death” came on the tv. The Netflix docuseries surving death started playing on its own. I had watched it like a month before. I got out of the floor & got into bed with a whole different attitude.

Just before he passed we bought our first house after years of bouncing around traveling. We decided we would become bird watchers. Got feeders and bird houses. I rarely see a cardinal anymore but when I do it is always just sitting on the side of a random road. I think it's him watching over my travels. I always say, "Hi Ben" and it flies off. Cardinals were his favorite ones to watch.

I was overseas on Valentine's Day and walked into a restaurant for dinner. one of the waiters yells out "happy Valentine's Day" to another customer leaving, as he saying it, a song we had planned to use at our wedding and then used at his funeral started playing.

I think he’s mad at me sometimes cuz I yell at him for leaving 🥺 and my punishment is forgetting things about him 😭 then I realize I need to focus on what signs and glimmers I do see ✨❤️it’s so hard , thanks for sharing your thoughts

i had a dream 2 months after he passed, and it was me seeing him and he disappeared.. and i was looking for him, and i got a text from him saying i miss you 💔 it’s almost been a year :(

One of my friends passed away in a fire. The night it happened I was taking photos at a bar and thinking, Ben is going to love these. I found out two days later when I hadn’t heard from him, checked his instagram and saw a comment saying something like “I heard you were there please let us know you’re okay” and IMMEDIATELY had a feeling of knowing wash over me. It was so strong and certain. The initial shock was probably only for a few seconds, I remember falling to my knees in my bedroom. And I’ll never forget a feeling that changed the way I view the world, it was like an energetic hug, the only way I can describe it. Like his being was able to come through some sort of barrier and connect with mine physically. All in the seconds after finding out, so I knew in my soul it was him comforting me. I have no idea how, but I’ll never forget.

After he passed I had like a shrine in my family room with candles, pics, mementos, etc. I would constantly be burning candles of all sizes . But the small votive candles that sit in the small glass holders would constantly break, combust, shatter. I would have them broken everywhere . All different times . Must have had 20 break over the first week or two. Then never again.

he used to turn my lights on first time was his bday a year later. they are on a remote. they’d turn on after i got in bed. i’d turn it off and say if you you do its again. there’d turn on again. i’d power off. he’d go one more time. this went on for years only with remote controlled lights. 😭

I was going through his stuff and sobbing hysterically and asked him for help and he played “fabulous” from high school musical 2, one of my favorites that I would sing to him all the time. I started laughing and went on with my day💗
