As a vegan of 30+ years, what works best is literally just cooking, going out to eat etc, once someone is amendable to trying vegan food, potentially reducing their meat intake that is more impactful I have noticed than direct conflict activism.

if it wasn't just as expensive as the regular crap with less protein.. eggs are just so much easier to get because I have a friend on a farm. meat literally grows itself easy. but the vegan crap is either just raw veggies which I eat anyways or some bs cooked in a lab to add protein. maybe if I were a big city person but dude farm fresh is 2 doors down.

Honestly this makes sense to me when you look at challenges like Dry January popularizing not drinking (and mocktails!). Some people just love a challenge.

I had no idea that people considered veganism to have a accessibility challenge. is cooking pasta that difficult for people. all fruits are ready to eat. do people find peeling a banana more difficult than breaking down a chicken. what is so inaccessible about a vegan diet? is it rice and beans available at every store.

I just hate the holier than thou mentality that many people have. if you choose to not eat abused animals then you choose to eat (often times) from slave labor. if you don't want to use natural furs then you use plastic that will rot the earth much worse. (this is a generalization if its not about you then don't come for me)
