ultron actually makes sense because he uses technology to repair/replicate tissue and broken bones over time, and rocket could do the same aswell. And I think gambit was tested on in mr lore so he got healing abilities but that was kinda lazy on their part

Mind you Jeff doesn’t even have the power to spit a water stream or form bubbles or grow massive and swallow enemies whole, but they gave this little guy all that and a bag of chips just to be able to add him in the game. Nightcrawler being able to heal people with his sword that’s literally made out of the hope in his soul doesn’t sound that crazy to me. Like idk I think nightcrawler makes perfect sense as a highly mobile intel gathering and team mobility kind of support. He can teleport, has highly enhanced senses and he has a sword made of hope, he’s clearly gonna be teleporting his teammates to optimal positions, sensing invisible enemies and using his sword to heal and buff his teammates. That’s what this character should be clearly
