with amlactin yes it smells weird at first but they changed something about the formula now and it gets absorbed sooo fast and the smell goes away so fast too

I buy bulk lactic acid and add it to a bottle of gold bond’s diabetic lotion. I make it about 30% strength and put it on maybe 30-60 mins before showering. I’ve recently gotten into doing a preshower hair care routine and this has fit in nicely (growth serum on my roots, dons strengthen on mids and hair oil on my ends). Gives the added benefit of not having to sleep in the lactic acid smell and also allows me to use a different body lotion after showering (gold bond’s retinol overnight lotion). I have the most lovely glow all over, but my back and arms were a radical change. Looking back I feel like I had such thick, neglected skin in those areas and just had no idea. But the softness is mind blowing now. I’ve been doing this routine for about four months now and I’m hooked. Took about a month of regular use to see the full transition from turtle shell to baby’s bottom, but you should see improvement from the first use.

I know this isn’t lotion but it’s made a massive difference in my skin. The Lumē Acidified Body Wash makes my skin feel like butter. The lavender is what I’ve tried so far and the tangerine is next. But the scent is very minimal. Highly recommend 💯

I have used it maybe four to five times and the brown spots on the back of my hands look so much better! Not all gone of course but WOW! I’m going to start using on my face! This is probably the least expensive lotion I have bought..and the best! 💙💙
