my fav pacis for newborn stage were the philips ultra soft but i have also heard lots of people love the mam original start! after she got the hang of the paci we used the tommee tippee ultra light stay put so she didn’t drop it in the crib as much 😅

Branson didn’t really care for a paci until he started teething around 7 months he liked tommee tippee, Anderson takes bibs pacis and they have a pack that you can try the different nipples.

If you’re planning to breastfeed then I say no bottles! Just latch. If you’re formula feeding I think they provide the formula that comes in a premade bottle?? Not sure if that’s what it’s called haha. But either way I agree you don’t need!
