When I turned 27, I had started grad school fresh far away from home in Norway. At that time I was not really worried about where I was supposed to be or not at such age. I was just grateful that at least I was not stagnant. I was progressing in life. And today at almost 37 and haven moved through the ups and downs in life, I think you should not be worried at all. You will be fine.

1. Actually there is nothing wiered about turning 27.It same as turning 30 or 25 or 20.U are just experiencing anxiety because of how the society views an individual at a certain age.At 27 some are married others are not.Some are working others are not.Some have travelled, others have not.We all have different fate. 2.Education have no age boundary.There are 40 year old in school.There is no criteria for a specific age when it comes to education.You are just clouded by societal expectations.

Honestly think you should take it easy. 27 means you’ve done stuff, you’ve gained experience, you’ve saved some money. A PhD is not a small feat, so you’re doing amazing. That in itself is an investment that will compound after you finish and get in the job market. So pat yourself on the back 😊

I’m turning 27 next 3 weeks , working, living alone,paying all bills by myself and will be starting school this weekend sponsored by myself 😂.
