It didn’t even take a being an asshole, or a bitch; if you start quietly and nicely asserting your needs, and the needs were just open communication about difficult issues, the avoidant sees it as an attack, and they will avoid the hard conversations to protect themselves over the marriage everytime. It’s so heartbreaking.💔

I sent him a message last night, it was a long message and some would say a crash out, and I know he won’t read it and won’t reply, but I done it for my self and not for him, I’m fed up of staying quiet to protect his feelings when he has never cared about hurting mine.
