My dad would pay the girls next door to come and do my hair and show him how to take care of it. He has dementia now and sometimes forgets who I am… but his eyes light up when he sees me, his soul knows who I am. I love seeing others who have/had great dads like ours. ❤️

my dad was a single dad for as long as I can remember, and I did dance for eight whole years and he would always try and learn how to do my hair and my make up, but if he didn’t know, he would always ask the other kids‘s mom to help me and there was this one year the one year my mom came to my dance recital and my dad won dance mom of the year.
