@aj.small: Part 2: So what do you do when “dry hair” isn’t just about adding more moisture? 🗣️You RESET the hair first. Her treatment plan wasn’t about throwing more product at the problem. It was about removing what was preventing her hair from responding, then addressing what was actually underneath: buildup, dehydration, breakage, compromised strength and an uneven shape. And even after multiple cleanses, treatments + steam, we STILL had residual buildup, which tells you just how much can accumulate when heavy creams, oils, butters and gels are constantly layered without proper clarifying. The biggest takeaway? Healthy hair care has to be intentional. Your shampoo, treatments, styling products AND haircut should all have a purpose. We didn’t fix everything in one appointment, but we did create a much healthier foundation to build from.
