I always get a paper receipt. Walmart has to pay for that 6 inch pc of paper. If you donate, Walmart gets the tax deduction. I NEVER donate upon checkout anywhere. I donate when and where I want. Don’t round up either.

Walmart has cheated so many people by not providing honest weights and measures for meat and produce. The guys going to the stores and bringing it to the attention of management and nothing being done about it have set a boycott. Don't give them your money.

They gather up those donations that they want from you and they use them for a tax deduction. That’s why they do that all the stores.

I never donate money to stores. They make the donations and get the credit for doing it, and they get the tax break.

The store can write up a deduction for the amount EVERY ONE donated, but YOU can’t! YOU can’t use YOUR Donation to Walmart, but when THEY make the donation ( that THEY got from you) THEY get to deduct everything they got from every donation they got from you to lower THEIR TAXES!!!
