Definitely St. Elmo's in Indy. Their shrimp cocktails are a speciality and the sauce is amazing!

Hoosier here! depending on what your budget is I always recommend St Elmos steakhouse! famous shrimp cocktail and the best cuts of beef in the city! Also soooo many bars/breweries but most of them are burger places. But there are so many places to choose from in downtown indy that no matter where you go you'll have a good time!

For Cincinnati, Riverside Korean is just across the bridge in Covington (I know, not technically in downtown Cinci but super close). Delicious, and you can dine at a Korean-style floor table.

I live in Indianapolis. I love Tian Fu and Kasai (both sushi places on the east side of downtown). In downtown itself, Yats on Mass Ave, Brother's Bar and Grill on Meridian (the best smokehouse pub buger I've ever had with sweet potato tater tots!), and Weber Grill on Illinois Street are some really good spots.

Omg!! On my bday last year I went to this place in Indy called The District Tap! SOOO GOOD! They have a GREAT variety of food, from steaks, to pizza to wings and amazing drinks and service! Love that place!
