I had a wild boar hog from his 3rd day till he was 18 years old. I had him neutered and he was my very best friend. I have never had a pig before ‘Christopher P. Bacon but my teenage daughter and her friends fell in live with him. He lived in the house litter box trained until he was 6 months. He walked the halls of Congress and came home a celebrity. He passed away last year and he is buried w my horses, in honor and is so very missed. Good luck with this little one. They will steal your heart! Guaranteed!!!

he needs milk to grow and develop properly. we fed ours (vet recommended) livestock replacement powdered milk. it will be easier on his tummy also they get very big! he may grow tusks that will be extremely sharp. if you teach him young manners he should be okay with them

I would think it’d be fairly easy to take care of him. Pigs, especially the wild kind are pretty resilient, they can eat anything. They grow fast too. I’m no expert, but it sounds like you got it under control.

We had a runt piglet that we supplemented with Gerber rice pablum and added some water/ milk to mix it. that was suggested by the vet.
