You can tell when somebody hasn’t built a life they’re truly happy with because they spend so much time watching everyone else live theirs. Stalking people’s social media, keeping up with every post, every picture, every move, just to turn around and gossip about what they saw. Imagine being so invested in someone else’s life that you make their everyday moments a topic of conversation. Meanwhile, the people you’re watching are simply living, growing, enjoying their blessings, and minding their own business. They’re not thinking about you, competing with you, or trying to prove anything to you. They’re just existing, while you’re studying their lives like it’s your full-time job. The truth is, when you’re genuinely happy with your own life, you don’t have the time or the desire to constantly monitor someone else’s. You can scroll past without feeling the need to judge, screenshot, discuss, or dissect. Because people who are at peace with themselves don’t need to make other people’s lives their entertainment. There’s a difference between seeing someone’s life on social media and being obsessed with keeping up with it. And sometimes, the people who talk the most about you are the same ones who can’t seem to stop watching you. Let that sink in. #scapegoat #narcissist #dysfunctionalfamily #nocontact #boundaries
