The storm damaged the infrastructure. It’s happens and has happened in other places. Thank a lineman for doing a dangerous job to get your power back. Quit shooting at them.

There are STILL folks without power all over Northwest IN! I drove through 3 counties Lake, Porter, and LaPorte during the storm and the damage is absolutely unfathomable. Never seen anything like this in 37 years! I hope y’all get power back on soon. My landlord in Valpo doesn’t have a power restore date until September 21st! 😩

That derecho was massive, there's a lot of work to be done on crumbling infrastructure. I grew up there and still have lots of family in "The Region".

Hope it gets better soon. They are working on it 24/7 I assure you them lineman wanna go home as fast as they can. We went over 30 without it. I hope it’s not near that long for yall
