The nanit has been great for us. I don’t pay for the subscription and have a 3D printed mount from Etsy so it doesn’t look like there’s a surveillance pole above the crib haha

We were anti wifi cameras and started out with the infant optics pro, but have recently added the owlet cam 2 (for $20 from FBMP) and we love it! No subscription needed and it records clips of noise or motion. 11/10

We have the Babysense and Nanit. Love the Babysense for its simplicity, stability, and quality. But for traveling, we like the Nanit because it can connect to the WiFi.

I’m not too concerned with WiFi since everything is being monitored anyway… for the price I’m looking at WYZE cameras. I have a bunch around the house and I’m keeping the same ecosystem.

Love our Nanit. The breathing monitoring doesn’t work in the swaddle stage, which I didn’t realized and was a bummer but once she transitioned out of the swaddle I love peace of mind of knowing she’s good. And knowing if she’s asleep deeply by her breath count

we went with a camera that's not Wi-Fi based. there's not enough encryption on the Wi-Fi baby monitors imho and they have proven to be very easy to hack.

I’ve been told to use caution with wifi ones as some parents have reported their feeds hacked, instances of people speaking through the monitor, etc - just something to consider!
