There needs to be standardized tests like the SAT or AP scores for every admission to good colleges. There is way too much variation in the quality of education and intelligence at different high schools.

GPA should be based solely on AP test scores. Standardized, equal, and fair. There are too many intelligent students that get rejected for this to be an issue

I think the UC system said they were planning on requiring the SAT in the application in the next couple of years

Cheating in hs is so so easy compared to standardized tests lol. Unironically u can get away with not knowing basic algebra depending on ur school.

Yea stankova was my prof as well. She had so much energy and was really passionate. It’s sad to see the standards dropping so much

Im in calc 3 and didnt get into berkley wdym the kids who did cant even do fourth grade math 😭😭😭

Hate to be that guy, but it literally boils down to the HS level. Schools love handing out easy As for effort. They should weigh testing more, whether that means creating a new test or bringing back more traditional testing.
