DIY CALENDULA SKIN CREAM 🌼 Calendula is a common and easy to grow skincare flower that speeds up healing and calms red and irritated skin. That makes it wonderful for creams, like this one. First, you make calendula-infused oil with a light oil such as sweet almond, rice bran, or apricot kernel. Easy! There's full instructions on my website lovelygreens.com To make the cream, you melt emulsifying wax with the oil and then blend it with your choice of water-based liquid. Distilled water is great, but here I'm using rose hydrosol, which also helps rejuvenate and hydrate.
