Buddhist here, Buddha said it himself he didn't label himself as a god; Buddhist has no god, buddha only wanted to be seen as a mentor/teacher, which doesnt equal to being a fully religion, correct me if im wrong, im a beginner buddhist, may all of you guys have a good day ^^

Buddhism is only counted as a religion because the west doesn’t know what else to call it. Unless you follow Chinese Buddhism there isn’t a god to follow. It’s essentially a bunch of really smart teachers we ask for help when we are doing something.
