The saddest part about this is knowing that companies want to remove ownership of games by making everything all digital. Popping a game into a console is a part of the experience but to take it all away for profit is truly heartbreaking 💔

I used to stay the night at my friend’s house every weekend when I was younger, we’d stay up all night and play CoD Black Ops 2. We eventually drifted apart, and I haven’t talked to him since we briefly chatted in high school. I don’t think he’d like who and what I am nowadays anyway, but I still hold those memories close

that last little bit got me. I have a copy of Pokemon Sapphire I started with my dad that we never finished. One summer I beat the rest of the game with the team we built together. That cartridge still has that save file and it will until my dying day.

I love AVGN. I recently went out of my way to restore my original Nintendo DS Lite that I got back in 2006 from Circuit City. it's supposed to come back in the mail anyway now and I'm so excited :)

It’s how I feel about the GameCube era and playing Windwaker for the first time. I got both for Christmas in 2002 and was over the moon. I lent my copy of Windwaker to a friend and never got it back. One of my favorite gifts and it was stolen from me. Thankfully I got another copy a few years later, but still. I still revisit Windwaker every so often, same with Twilight Princess, and I’m hit with the same feelings all over again
