PLEASE STOCK UP ON ELDERBERRY AND EMERGEN-C!! I'm a teacher and back to school means back to sick... Those little carrier monkeys catch and release every stinkin' thing when they go back to school. I love them.... all of them.... but damn.

my oldest sleeps in the clothes he wears the next day (has done since he was 5 or 6 and hes 12 now) and my youngest has them hanging on his door for the week. It has saved me so much time

I have also embraced the sock bucket 😂 I only buy each of us one brand and style of socks for school and work. Those go into a little tote next the bedroom door. No thoughts needed. Grab school socks and go. We can’t do night before on clothes and shoes unfortunately. Their sensory needs tonight will almost inevitably not be the same as their needs in the morning. The only thing I do is check the weather and make sure if weather gear is needed it’s in the living room so they can grab and go.

Might be the perfect time to change Bandit Bill’s name to Chaos? I mean, we all know he’s found his furever home with y’all!

Smart parenting! We make two sheet trays of slider sandwiches with Hawaiian rolls on Sunday nights and bag them up two per baggie. Pre-wash and cut fruits and veggies and have snack options available. When we get home from school, kids toss their trash from their lunchboxes and immediately pack their lunch for the next day and store in fridge. Sanity saving!

Re snacks: my older daughter asking, about an hour after we got home from school pickup, “When are we having supper?” Me, “You had rice cakes and an apple in the car, veggies and cheese when you got home, and just had a sandwich!”

I love that Danger Baby has their own bin. When you have 147 older siblings, you just want to be included ♥️

I have a laminated lunch packing sheet. It goes over that she has to choose two fruits or veggies, two snacks, two types of proteins and one carb and then she can take any combination and make her own lunch out of those options. Empowers her and helps with thinking what is needed!
