To my avoidant someone, I won't beg this time. Not because I stopped caring, but because I'm starting to understand that love shouldn't feel like i have to keep proving i'm worth staying for. I hope you remember someone once loved you this gently, this patiently, this real. But for now, I'm letting go of the version of you that only exists when it's convenient. Still soft, just not losing myself anymore.
