Yeah, no soliciting signs don’t work anymore. What you need is no trespassing signs and then underneath of it. Let them know that if they’re soliciting, you will request a business card so you can send the company that they’re working for an invoice for your time that they wasted due to the post no soliciting sign $50 a minute to listen to any sales pitch. Clock starts the moment I open the door.

I got a sign that says “solicitors will be sacrificed to the old gods, NOT the new” And I haven’t had a single unwanted knock on my door in the entire year we’ve lived here. I have had several read the sign and turn and walk off tho!!

I dunno but if I’m in sales, I’m going to not waste my time knocking on doors with signs saying “I’m not buying anything” and marching my ass to houses that don’t have that sign where I might have a chance! Have they not figured that out?
