I’ve got 2100 films logged, I think I’m pretty good at judging whether I will enjoy a movie or not, why would I watch something I know I’m not gonna at least generally enjoy? That being said, I don’t throw out 5 stars either, 4 stars is by far my biggest rating

he’s literally right, most of the movies I watch are recommendations from family and friends of great movies, and movies I’ve always wanted to watch, I’m not going to waste my day watching films I know will suck just to get more films on my diary 😭💔
