Love the surfboard, but you need to display it like you mean it. It needs to be mounted on the wall. Maybe horizontally above the windows.

Now that I see the entire room I agree it would be too much and don’t do an accent wall it’s too small and wouldn’t look good. Velvet long curtain panels in the blue/teal color that’s in the couch would be really pretty. Not sure why so many are saying mustard yellow but that would take away from the couch. Designer here and I love the vibe! ❤️
