tbh, I'm upset, cause why would God make me to be a person who can only see/hear/perceive the world with my 5 senses, but not give me the ways to perceive him in those senses. the Bible isn't even helpful when I just want to have a 2 way conversation with Him. even after a year and 8 months of being a Christian, I still have no idea what "in the spirit" means. you can explain it in a million different ways with words, but I NEED to experience it in order to fully grasp what it is. I'm still waiting for such experiences

But here’s the fun part; I know what to do to get to the point that I’ll know what to do. So I feel like it’s pointless to keep asking the same stuff but I also know persistence is rewarding and consistency is key. I feel stupid cause I never take the first step and God always has to give me a nudge. Either way I end up in tears but that also feels rewarding because in my weakness I am made so perfect that any other life/moment/feeling genuinely feels alienated.

i went through a breakup and would cry to god every night to take away my pain, but it didnt happen until a few months after. i know it sometimes looks like he isnt there, but know that he is. he is always listening, he understands, but gods plans happens on gods timing. i woke up on a random morning able to forgive my ex who treated me badly, i was able to get through my day, and i stopped crying and thinking about him. it took one random day for god to change all of it for me. i just had to wait, even though i didnt understand. i promise this waiting period is made for you to grow while god prepares new doors for you 💝
