For me it’s already wild that there are sugar pills in the pack? In the Netherlands you get a strip for 21 days, then you take nothing for 7 days and then you start the new strip. Why take sugar pills for 7 days??

i saw someone saying that the placebo week mimics miscarriage to fear monger, and so many girls in the comments were believing that BS! there is a lot of things to complain about birth control, but spreading this whole BC is horrible propaganda under this administration is so harmful tbh. it’s the only thing that has helped my pmdd and endometriosis

This is what I've been telling people for years. But the insurance company will not let my dr prescribe my bc continuously. Like, me and the dr both know that bleeding is unnecessary, why is the insurance company involved at all? And why do other women make me feel crazy when I share this information?

so why don't we just take the hormones pills all the time if we want a constant thinning of the lining and don't want a "period" would be just bleed more irregularly is that the reason? it's not needed but is preferred?

I literally cannot explain withdrawl bleeding without being looked at crazy. You can also still bleed while pregnant during that first cycle
