being an only child and getting overly attached to your friends to make up for it but they’ll never love you as much as you love them bcs they’re like a sibling to you but they have their own sibling so you’re not to them is my personal hell

growing up, i hated it and wanted a sibling. as an adult now i truly am so appreciative of being an only child and really think it allowed me to become who i am today. however, my biggest fear is being truly alone when my parents pass away.
