The thing is, Claude Code can’t really be “free unlimited.” OpenRouter is just connecting Claude Code to another AI provider. Even if you use Kimi or another free model, that model still has limits on how much you can generate. AI generation uses real GPU resources, so there’s always some kind of usage limit somewhere. You’re basically switching where the AI comes from, not making the AI unlimited for free.
