unprofitable traders have one thing in common: they trade from everywhere. I only became profitable after I stopped trading from these 5 places. drop the number you’re still trading from 👇. 1⃣ my bed pyjamas are not a trading edge. I used to trade from my bed at all sorts of hours - straight when I woke up, in the middle of the night. Sometimes I’d fall asleep with my phone in my hand, wake up and place a trade… and then wonder why I wasn’t profitable. the bed signals your brain and body to relax, not to focus. 2⃣ while out and about I used to trade from the most random places - on the train, while waiting in line at the supermarket, at the nail salon, under the table while at dinner… I even had a phase where I traded from coffee shops thinking it was cute. turns out if you’re struggling to be profitable, trading from random places is a habit you need to get rid of. once I only traded from my actual trading desk, I treated it more seriously. 3⃣ my phone this was the enabler for everything above. nothing good ever came from trading on my phone. yes, I had the occasional win, but overall it did more harm than good. I never enjoyed any activities anymore because all I did was sit on my phone trading or checking charts - no matter where I was. it literally sucked the life out of me. I’m a stubborn person, so deleting all trading apps was the only thing that stopped me. 4⃣ the couch. the couch is for netflix & chill - not for trading. we sit in a slouched or lying-down position and no good trading ever happens there. once I started to take trading seriously and set some boundaries, everything changed. 5⃣ the toilet. lol. this one had to be added because if you’re unprofitable… be honest… you’ve traded from here too. doomscrolling location? fine. running a trading business? absolutely not. If you’re struggling to be profitable, review the places you trade from. I only trade form the same desk, with the same screens, during the same session every day. trading stopped being something i do all day and became something i sit down for with intention. my brain now knows that once we go to my trading desk, it has to focus and be present. #tradingforbeginners #howtotrade #tradingjourney #tradingtips #femaletrader
