It's not generosity when it's literally nothing to them.

Does she not see the dichotomy in her views? To people earning 10x we see them just like the poor uni student. So….

For people who don't see the difference in the two situations: It's all about haslow's hierarchy of needs... if all of your needs are met (because you have money to support yourself), additional money (yours or your partner's) is fun and stress-free... But if your hierarchy of needs is ✨NOT✨ being met because you don't have the money to fulfill them, then you must depend on someone else's money, and that's control and a power imbalance (which is very stressful and not fun at all). Hope this helps.

I don't think people should be supporting anyone else through school unless you've already built a life together and are presumably married.

Wow! Who'd a thought! Dating someone that pays for everything in your life is great and easy! While being the person that does it is not as fun. Who would have thought 🥴🥴🥴🥴

Most of you couldn’t pick these men out of a crowd because your idea is wealth (the screaming kind) doesn’t reflect that most wealth whispers . (I learned this from a women when I young. Now that I’m accomplished I see it all around me)

Complainers don't get it. If you have the means to be generous to the people in your life without sacrifice then that's nice of you. If you are receiving that sort of favour it's okay to enjoy. If you are giving so much it's a burden, then you need to examine what's going on. If you are the taker in that relationship you need to make sure you are not a drain by whatever means you can.

I mean sure! You deserve being treated really well. But just because you deserve it doesn’t mean it’s wrong when someone else can’t afford to do it.
