There are higher end aluminum ceramic pans that are free of PFAS, PFOS, and PTFE which don’t release microplastics. So one cannot say all ceramic are bad. They exist. When they do wear down they release microscopic silica (glass/sand) mineral particles rather than plastic polymers.
