I walked into Kroger today with one goal: find someone I could help. I noticed a grandmother shopping with her two young granddaughters. They only had a few things in their cart, so I asked if I could buy their groceries. She looked at me in complete shock and asked, “Are you serious?” As we talked, she shared that she was taking the girls to the Ohio State Fair. She had just enough money for the wristbands, but couldn’t afford snacks or much else. So I asked her to go back and grab anything else they needed for home too. As we walked through the aisles together, she told me something I never expected to hear. One of her granddaughters is now being raised by her because both of her parents were murdered. My heart broke. Despite everything she’s been through, she was still smiling, still grateful, and still doing everything she could to give those little girls a good day. Moments like this remind me that you never know what someone is carrying. Not every struggle is visible. Sometimes the strongest people are fighting battles you’d never imagine. I hope this small act of kindness helped take a little weight off her shoulders and gave those girls a day they’ll remember. This is why I started We Heal World. I truly believe that if enough of us choose compassion over judgment and kindness over indifference, we can change lives—one person at a time. I’ve been doing this out of my own pocket, and I’ll continue to. But I also created a GoFundMe (link in bio) for anyone who wants to be part of this mission. Every dollar donated goes directly toward helping people in need and creating moments like this. Together, we can remind people they’re not alone. Let’s heal the world—one act of kindness at a time. ❤️🌍 #WeHealWrld #PayItForward #KindnessMatters #SpreadLove #HumanityFirst
