@praycoapp: I wanted to tell you about Daniel, one of the most well-known stories in the Bible but one that still holds all its power on every re-read. Daniel is a powerful man in Babylon, a respected advisor to the king. His only known habit: praying three times a day, window wide open facing Jerusalem, without hiding it. His rivals, jealous of his position, pass a law making it illegal to pray to anyone but the king, on penalty of death, specifically to trap him. Daniel hears about it, and keeps praying exactly as before, without changing his routine at all. He's arrested and thrown into a den full of hungry lions for disobeying. In the morning, he walks out completely unharmed. Even under the most direct threat possible, he never changed his prayer rhythm.
