That’s the point. I don’t want to spend my life staring at charts. I use longer-term positions and automated systems so trading can run in the background while I actually live. That doesn’t mean there’s no risk. There are losing trades, losing days, and losing months. Leverage can also work against you. But I’d rather build systems that require less of my attention than create another job for myself. For me, a trading business is really two things: Build capital. Deploy capital intelligently. Your edge should not require sacrificing your entire day. The goal is not to spend more time trading. The goal is to build a life where you don’t have to.
