This is why InterLink has outlined seven priorities for the next five years. Post-Quantum Security focuses on preparing the network for future technological challenges. As quantum computing develops, existing cryptographic systems could face new risks. InterLink is researching and testing post-quantum technologies to strengthen future readiness. Real-World Asset infrastructure is another important direction. Through IBTE, InterLink aims to support businesses that want to tokenize real-world assets and move business activity on-chain. This can help blockchain technology become more connected to the real economy. Open Mainnet is targeted for 2027 and is expected to be a major transition. The broader blockchain economy will become more connected to InterLink, while mobile mining ends and validators, staking, applications, liquidity, and on-chain activity become increasingly important. InterLink is also working toward greater access to global markets through potential Tier-1 exchange listings. Binance, OKX, and Coinbase are among the key targets, supported by the development of liquidity, security, compliance, and institutional infrastructure. The Digital Asset Treasury Network aims to encourage companies and institutions to hold ITL, with a long-term goal of at least 500 participants. ITL utility will also be expanded into practical areas such as travel, hotels, shopping, food, entertainment, gift cards, and digital services. Finally, verification infrastructure will continue to improve so more people can participate in digital asset ownership while strong identity, anti-fraud, KYC/AML, and compliance standards remain in place.
