I went over immediately. we built an epic fort. played video games in the fort. watched movies in the fort. spent the entire weekend in the fort. and then 7 weeks later I found out I was 7 weeks pregnant with my oldest and that friend is now my husband 🤣

Middle school. Because the 7th and 8th graders destroyed any child remaining in the kids in 6th grade. It was “the way it was always done”. We are not doing that anymore in this family.

I’m a pre-k teacher and about a month ago during centers 2 of my kids were “sneaking” to their cubbies to grab their blankets and all they said was “we’re doing something” then they got upset bc the “something” wasn’t working. I figured out they were trying to build a fort. Immediately I enlisted the rest of the class for help. Chairs, blankets, tables and I put a sign on the classroom door… “HAZARD! Fort Building In Process.” Anyway I had a blast…oh & I’m sure the kids did too. 😅

my x2 19yo boys, my 11yo son and all their friends come over and play nurf wars and ask me to make dino nuggets with Mac n cheese or grilled cheese and tomato soup, oh and make Kool-Aid. we have a couple acres but our older neighbors like to come over and watch. I love it, watching them do youthful stuff brings me so much joy.
