@worldsikhorg: We Can't Ignore the Rise of Anti-Sikh Hate Following the recent attack at Nanaksar Gurdwara in Edmonton, Alberta last week, we’ve seen widespread coverage of the incident and the disturbing reality it represents. An individual disrupted morning prayers and assaulted members of the sangat who tried to intervene. No one should have to fear for their safety in a place of worship. This incident is yet another reminder of the rise of Anti-Sikh Hate and the growing need to take it seriously. Hate targeting Sikhs cannot be dismissed, normalized, or ignored until something worse happens. Our Gurdwaras must be places where our community can feel safe. Anti-Sikh Hate must be confronted.
