All I can think of is imagining how many friends he has lost throughout time. Every time he wakes up he gains new friends and every time he goes to sleep he loses them. He has probably been through this so many times, it’s why he accepts it so easily. How many fairies and other creatures has he lost. His existence is pure torture, I will never forgive Disney for this.

My theory is that Disney planned to make movies for each fairy, it started with Fawn. But I think the studio who made the franchise shut down or went bankrupt or something. Thus making this the only movie that tinkerbell is not the main focus.

i think it was kind of tragic, you see when we first watched the movie the title itself already spoke for Gruff that he was NEVER a BEAST and I read one comment where Gruff probably went through so many times and that's why it's easy for him to do this, but I think it will never stop hurting just because it was an easy choice and when he is slowly closing his eyes after Fawn said her goodbyes, for a moment it wasn't just Gruff it was also us the children who was watching Tinkerbell for the last time and maybe the reason why we only see fawn at the end is because that's what the last thing we saw through Gruff's eyes

It’s like we said goodbye to our childhood. I always felt like we or our childhood was the neverbeast and that’s why I love this movie as ending of the tinkerbell franchise so much 🥹🥲
