In the book of Luke, it says that Jesus asked the Father to remove the suffering that was coming, but He surrendered completely to God’s will, saying, “Yet I want your will to be done, not mine.” An angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him, Luke doesn’t say which angel it was. In my opinion, Jesus was experiencing the very real anguish and fear of the suffering and death that awaited Him. How scary and frightening it must have been to face His own death, yet He still chose to go through with it for us. ❤️And so many of us still struggle to accept the sacrifice He made for us. Oh, how I love Jesus. 👑❤️Thank You, my King! Thank You for choosing the cross for me. ✝️

And He had 72,000 angels behind Him ready to end everything and He spared us when the pain and suffering could’ve been over for Him. We don’t deserve His love yet I’m so thankful we have it. It’s the greatest love I’ve ever known.
