elephants are like us. thru and thru. I live in Malaysia where sometimes the babies get hit by cars up north. mamas never leave their dead babies. and we all cry together watching the clips. elephants need to be absolutely protected wherever they are. we all need to do our part in conservation globally.

They practice allomothering which means the females help the mother raise and protect the calf. 🩶 The matriarchs, eldest females, act as an encyclopedia for the herd.
