Such a waste of money, but the government didn’t give us referendums on our Neutrality or about signing in to The Migration Pact,( even though Ireland, like Denmark, had a veto to reject illegal migrants). The above referenda would have been our money well spent!

Spot on again Paul! The money wasted on initiatives that are then quietly shelved is absolutely disgraceful, but the message behind this one really bothered me too. Older people, downsize, take up less space, make yourself smaller and smaller. Really? What an awful message to send to the people who built this country. Then you have vulnerable people having to fight for essential medication like Skyclarys. It’s not just about money, it’s about priorities. We can waste millions on ideas that go nowhere, yet sick people are left having to literally fight for their lives!! 😡

I got a letter to downsize, I was private renting for a very long time, 2 years homeless, took 13 years before I got my home now. im 57 and my son has moved back in , I'll be dammed if I give up my home to be shoved in a cardboard box. I've put a lot of money in my home n have intended to buy it. im very annoyed about it all
