@stvnews: The public is being invited to come up with creative winter-themed names for a gritter fleet. The competition, launched by BEAR Scotland, is inviting Scots to name its fleet of 115 gritters which serve the south east and north west trunk road networks. Previous competitions have produced memorable snowy pun names including Snow Scotland Snow Party, I’ve Grit A Crush On You, Basil Salty, Gritty Gritty Bang Bang, Sir Andy Flurry and Brine Freeeeze.
