No I get them. When I'm planning something I AT LEAST want to know how many people will go. When someone clearly read the message and did not write that they will go then I count them as absent. I believe that if you are planning a group outing, it would be nice if everyone contributed something and writing one sentence "I'm going too" is the least you can do
