He should be admired and respected. When money cannot buy you and you have a conscience, it says something powerful about your character. It means you genuinely care about your people and are willing to stand by your principles, even when doing so may come at a personal cost. He tried again and again, and he refused to accept what these people were doing. We should not forget that he also represented us in negotiations with the Egyptians at the White House, representing Ethiopia. He could have pursued many opportunities and used his position and experience to build substantial personal wealth. He chose not to. That kind of integrity is rare. You don't have to agree with every decision someone makes to recognize when a person chooses principles over money and personal gain. That deserves respect. And to the host: I have seen several of your funny videos, and I genuinely admire and appreciate you for recognizing this, showing respect, and bringing it to light. It is refreshing to see someone use their platform to acknowledge and highlight something meaningful rather than simply mock it. At the end of the day, money comes and goes, but integrity and conscience are much harder to earn. Those are qualities we should recognize and respect.
